Courtney + Model

I have had the greatest pleasure of having the most amazing neighbors, who moved in next door about three months ago. Within those two months we truly have become great friends. Courtney and her beautiful family are so sincere and are always there for us. They are truly the definition of great neighbors.
A few days ago, I got the itch for a modeling session at a certain field location. I was tired of the same boring locations and needed something new. So I simply text my amazing neighbor, Courtney, and ask if she was interested in modeling. Sure enough she was just as excited as I was to do it. Her only response, "I need to work on my serious face". Courtney, I just have to say .. you nailed it love!
It was such a beautiful evening and oh so perfect for a session. The sun was hitting perfectly.
Within 30 mins into the session.. we discovered this little fury guy

Courtney, you are absolutely beautiful inside and out. This session was nothing but laughter and great memories. Thank you so much for everything.

Logan + One Year Portraits

I received an email a few weeks ago from Julia, Logan's mom. She found me on Facebook through a mutual friend, whom I took pictures for. She explained that she had a one year old son, whom she wanted to get pictures of. She was explaining her vision, of a red & white theme, and that he was born on Valentine's Day. When she told me this, I immediately knew I wanted to do this session at Southern Jeweled. If you have never heard of this place, well you truly are missing out. Its a great location for pictures with a bunch of charming vintage setups that the owner does on her own property. I immediately contacted Southern Jeweled and explained what I had in mind and booked the location. However, with the crazy Texas weather we have been having, we had to reschedule this shoot at least two or three times. However, it was meant to be because the weather yesterday was gorgeous.

When I showed up on location, Julia & Logan were ready to go. She tried telling me that Logan didn't like to sit still and is adventurous. At one years old, I didn't expect anything less. Being a mom of three, I knew exactly how to capture what I needed for Julia. We began on a beautiful turquoise antique couch, which you can see below the very first image taken was Julia getting Logan ready on it. Logan was amazing during the session, he was very much intrigued by everything around him. Take a look for yourself of how this cutie did.
That is all for the sneak peek! Julia, thank you so much for asking me to partake in Logan's One year portraits. He is such a sweetheart. I can not wait for you to see the rest.

Thank you to all my clients and fans that keep up with my work. You are the ones that keep me doing what I love.

Edwards Family + Portraits

Melissa, one of my long time best friends, called me up and told me I had to fly out to South Carolina. Not just to visit, but also because she wanted me to capture her family portraits. She came to me, knowing my style of work and trusting me with ability to capture the memories and love in her family. After a few days of hanging out and spending time together, we headed to downtown Charleston, South Carolina. If anyone really knows me, knows that I love this city! Its timeless and magnificent in beauty. It is truly the one city I dream of living in, and hopefully soon will. The city truly set a beautiful backdrop for capturing their family. So sit back and take a peek for yourself.

You can truly see the love this family has for each other.
How can you not just be smitten over this little grin?! He is just such a little ham.
It even got a little romantic.
Melissa & Steven, I am so honored you asked me to capture these moments. Remember this is just a sneak peek of your images. I can not wait for you to see the rest.

The Sims Family + Christmas Family Portraits

I received a message three days ago, from a friend saying she needed some family Christmas pictures done. And she needed them done soon! So the planning process began. She mentioned she wanted to do something on a rustic bridge in the downtown area that she found in a photograph. Well we made it happen.

These are just a few of her sneak peeks! Be sure to check out our photography facebook page for more!

Jason + Khristen | Cancun, Mexico

When Khristen contacted me about photographing her wedding, I was so excited. Not only because she is the sweetest person I know, but she is also one of my bestest friends. I was even more excited when she told me where it was going to be, etc. Jason and Khristen are one of the most amazing couples and their wedding day was absolutely gorgeous! Just being there during the ceremony and being with them through out the day- their love for each other was so incredibly evident. The whole wedding ceremony was beautiful. Here are just a few of my favorite photos from the day…

Just breath taking. And I couldn't have been more honored to be apart of  it all.

Two Months

Please excuse me for a moment while I’m the mom who blogs a bit about my beautiful baby girl….she turned two months old Monday! I can’t believe it! Two months?! These months have seriously gone so fast….honestly, I feel like this summer has flown by! Can you believe September is next month? Sheesh! One of the reasons I think the summer has been gone so fast this year is because of being constantly on the go or doing something. Anyway….Kinsley is two months old and is truly such a happy baby! She is also quite big for her age and is growing out of his clothes very quickly. I guess that means I just gotta buy new ones right? ;) (love baby girl clothes shopping- who doesn’t?! ha!) The boys are still adjusting a little bit to being older brothers but they love Kinsie! They love to try to help out with her, except for changing diapers. Haha Alright, while they are both napping I better get to cleaning this house!  Have a blessed week!

A ray of Sunshine..

I had the great pleasure of finishing up Sarah's outdoor senior session today. We had to reschedule from her last session due to the weather and I must say it was perfect! Sarah was more relaxed in front of the camera this time, which turned her images to gold. Almost every single shot is perfect. Take a look!

Beautiful and oh so sweet is what she is. I am so thankful Sarah chose me to do her senior portraits! Sarah- best of luck to you in your near future!!
